The Town of Secaucus is currently signing up residents for its’ 2019 CSA program!

The Mayor and Environmental Department are working with Genesis Farm, one of the oldest CSA’s in the country, to continue to bring a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program to Secaucus.

Community Supported Agriculture is a growing national trend for families looking for healthy eating alternatives while supporting local farmers and earth-friendly farming practices. CSA members sign up and pay for shares in advance, enabling the farmer to buy the necessary seeds and equipment and to carefully plan for the upcoming season. CSA programs are already in place in Hoboken and Jersey City. Now in its fourth year, Secaucus residents have been enjoying the Secaucus-based CSA program which makes it easier for local residents to have access to organically grown produce.

Genesis Farm, located in Blairstown, offers certified-organic vegetables delivered bi-weekly to the Secaucus Recreation Center at 1200 Koelle Blvd for pickup by its members - from mid-June through mid-November.  Buying a share for the season is a convenient way to ensure a steady supply of fresh, healthy produce at a great value for your family.

Sign up for the CSA program is generally February thru April. For more information or how to join email or call below:
